Hi!

Oxeye Game Studio is proud to announce SPACEFEST!

A 2 day project made by Oxeye Game Studio during Spelfest 2007 in Malmö, Sweden.

You control a spacecraft with the mouse and shoot with the left mouse button. Money is gathered from destroying the enemies and you purchase the currently selected upgrade with the right mouse button.

You can compete in the online high-score to distinguish yourself as a space pilot!

You can also create your own custom maps in any drawing program! (just look in the "maps" folder for help on that)

Due to the time restrictions this game was created under, it only features one level, and some parts of the game is somewhat unpolished. Instead we focused on making it fun to play. When ether we succeeded in doing that, we leave for you to decide...

anyway looks cool... remembers me on a game from ambrosia...

you could always try it out in bootcamp if you have that =).. Its purely software rendered, so no need for direct X or such.

no way...

bootcamp, paralells and all that stuff... no i'll never install that.


but, in a few days i will install leopard, and then i'll give it a try when i get crossover running.
I'll post some Screenshots if its working.

The highscores didn't work from 20th november to today (24th november). They are up and running again now. We are sorry if it caused any trouble.

Number of submitted high-scores has now reached 2500

Number of submited high-scores has passed 5000
