Final Version

Oxeye’s prototyping service aims to give you a proof-of-concept implementation of your game idea. The prototype will be developed rapidly, with focus on delivering the essence of the game concept and answering the question, “Is this game idea any fun?” In addition, Oxeye’s crew is skilled at game design and balance, and this expertice will be applied to make sure that the concept is given its fair amount of attention. Oxeye’s portfolio contains several rapidly developed game concepts, such as “House Globe”, “Fillauth”, “Because it’s fun, Fay” and “Agatha Ragata”.

How it Works

Decide on your initial budget, then simply contact us with your budget and idea and we will take care of it from there.

If that is too free-form, these steps describe the typical workflow for us to prototype your game idea:

  1. Contact us on this e-mail. ( You can use this e-mail template if you wish )
  2. We give you a preliminary quote and time schedule depending on the complexity of your game
  3. If you want to continue, we will sign an NDA of your choice, to protect your game idea
  4. You send us the game concept description
  5. We give you the quote and time plan for the project
  6. You give us green light to implement the prototype of your game idea
  7. We deliver the prototype along with Lua source code
  8. Upon payment of our invoice, we will also send you the source material to artwork, a development diary and instructions on how to modify settings in the Lua source code

What We Deliver

Our deliveries will contain:

  1. A prototype implementation of your game description, for Windows
  2. The source code ( in Lua )
  3. Depending on the character of the project, it will also contain artwork, sound and/or music.
  4. A development diary: While we implement your game idea we may discover things that don’t work so well, or maybe find new things to do with the concept. Game design done on-the-fly like this will be documented in a development diary that we will send to you upon the completion of the project.
