Open Beta Announced

Good news!

The Open Beta is soon at hand. Friday August 10 will be the day when we make the Open Beta availible for your downloading pleasure.

The Open Beta will feature the planet Hephaestus where you will face “Death-Mite”, the “D-70″ and many more vicious aliens out to get your scalp. You will be able to expand your base and build defences worthy of a true colonist.

However, we will also ask of you to give us feedback on the game. If you find bugs or gameplay imbalances during the Beta, make sure you stop by our forum and share it with us!

Steamin’ fresh from the press: The new, and wonderful we think, Harvest: Massive Encounter homepage has finally opened its doors to the world! Note that some features are still not implemented, thus, please do excuse the occasional dead ends.

We will be rolling out new content from time to time, so be sure to check back here from time to time. If you’d rather let us tell you when we have something really interesting (like releasing the Open Beta for example), join our newsletter and just relax!

Harvest finished second place at SGA’07

Oxeye Game Studio won second prize with “Harvest” in the “Best PC Game” category at the Swedish Game Awards! The jury’s motivation was,

“A well-polished game that triggers competitiveness and the desire for exploration”

We were overjoyed with this prize and had a great time during the award ceremonies! Thanks to everybody who was there!

Harvest has been nominated as one of the four best PC games submitted to this year’s Swedish Game Awards! The finale is this Saturday (June 2 2007) where the winner will be annonced. The competition is hard, but placing top four out of over hundred participants is not too shabby!
